I finished reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy yesterday for the second time. It is a haunting book. Few books grip me like this, and it does it in a way I am not sure I like. But at the same time it is wonderful that it does. When you can feel tears coming after reading the last paragraph, and you still want to read it one more time, you must be holding a good book. That last paragraph is powerful. I am going to post it further down, for those who want to read it. It has no spoilers in them, as to what happens with the main characters in the book. Still, it might be more powerful to read it for the first time as you are finishing the book. I
